Investigators seek the public's help in identifying possible witnesses to a murder last summer in Salem City.

Marquise Coleman, 24, of Salem, was found with multiple gunshot wounds shortly after 7 p.m. on July 5 at Miller and Carpenter streets, authorities said. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Salem County Prosecutor’s Office released two surveillance photos on Tuesday, including one showing two men sitting in a car. 

The vehicle appears to be a tan or gold Chevrolet Impala, model years 2006-2016, the prosecutor said.

A second photo shows four possible witnesses seen leaving from the area where the homicide occurred, shortly after the shooting was believed to have taken place, the prosecutor's office said.

Anyone with information on the homicide, the vehicle, or the people in the photos is asked to call the prosecutor’s office at 856-935-7510, leave an anonymous tip at 856-935-2847 or leave a tip via the prosecutor’s website.
